Sometimes in the fast-paced world of the gaming industry games come and go. Great video game series often go one of two ways. Whether this is through a roar or a whimper really depends on the situation.  While some titles are shot down in a blaze of glory, others seem to fizzle out in such a way that it does not attract as much attention.  Regardless of the reasons why this happens, it is undoubtedly an interesting phenomenon. Below are our picks for 5 great video games series that went quiet.

5. Silent Hill PT

Silent Hill PT took the gaming world by storm when it was initially released as a demo. The brainchild of Konami released many players being scared out of their wits by this title. Along with the scares, however, was a then-innovative looping mechanic that added to the tense horror of the game. It was this commitment to quality as well as the quality of the scares that made the game stand out. And just when it seemed that the gaming world had fallen in love with Silent Hill again the demo was pulled by Konami for unknown reasons.

Altogether the game garnered as much attention as it did due to its absorbing and creepy atmosphere as well as the novelty of the looping mechanic within the game. The title being this solid made a lot of game fans question why Konami had decided to pull the game in the first place. While the game was removed from stores, players who were lucky enough to still have the demo on their machine were able to sell them for exorbitant prices. making SIlent Hill PT a great game that went quiet.

4. Metal GearBest Xbox One Games of All Time

Now the reasons why the Metal Gear game series went quiet have become quite known. Following creative differences between developer Hideo Kojima and Publisher Konami, the two quickly severed ties. This timing was unfortunate as well because the fifth installment of the Metal Gear series Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain had just been released. With fans of Hideo Kojima remaining loyal to him. As well as Konami failing to capture the essence of the series in their follow-up title, called Metal Gear Survive the game series at least for the moment has gone quiet.

This PR blunder has been seen in recent timers as one of the most divisive decisions in all of gaming. Many players see Hideo Kojima as the heart and soul of the Metal Gear franchise. So any subsequent games made without Kojima would simply be viewed as empty husks of a once-great game series. While Kojima has parted ways with Konami in favor of his own gaming studio Kojima Productions, many fans still wish that the newest iteration of Metal Gear would live up to its predecessors.

3. Sly Cooper

Sly Cooper is a sensational stealth game from the PS2 era of gaming. The series features the titular character Sly Cooper. A thief with a heart of gold accomplishing various missions. Along with a ragtag group of companions. Being one of the PS2 games that had a lot of charm and soul players have been missing this series for a long time. With the latest installment of the series being released in 2013, many players have become impatient in anticipating a new title.

With a cast of wonderfully quirky characters as well as a novel gameplay design. Sly Cooper is simply a treat to play through. It is likely for this reason that players miss the game series so much. Revitalizing the series would simply make a lot of series for the developers as a new iteration of the Sly series would no doubt do well. As we have seen games make a similar comeback such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. It is for this reason that a new Sly title would be welcome with open arms.

2. Banjo Kazooie

Banjo Kazooie is a beloved title that holds a special place in the hearts of a lot of gamers. The charming platformer is remembered fondly for its cute and quirky art direction as well as its memorable soundtrack. One of the gems of the Nintendo 64 era this game showed that it isn't necessarily graphical fidelity that makes a great game but heart. Players were able to use a wide range of abilities to help Banjo accomplish its goals. With an instantly recognizable cast of characters, this title truly shines.

In conclusion, a new iteration of Banjo Kazooie would be fantastic. While there was a spiritual successor called Yooka-Laylee garnered a lot of attention but failed to capture as much attention as Banjo. One of the staple platformers from yesteryear it would be great to see how this game would do in the current market. With many fans wishing for the return of the series, it is surprising just how quiet the series has gone. Therefore, if a new iteration of the series was released it would undoubtedly be a hit among retro platformer fans.

1. Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia is a series that served as an innovator in the stealth action genre. The series made the way for many games to follow in its silent footsteps. Games in the series, such as Prince of Persia Sands of Time being lauded as one of the best games of all time. It is no secret that this game series is full of potential. With a new iteration undoubtedly being able to capitalize on the technological advancements in the industry it would be a no-brainer.

In conclusion, a Prince of Persia remake or reboot would be fantastic. It would be much better than the relative obscurity that the lack of updates has done to the series. Prince of Persia is a game that finds much of its DNA in the newer action stealth titles. Such as the Assassin's Creed series. A fantastic game series that players should no doubt play if they haven't already, Prince of Persia is a game series that deserves not to fade into relative obscurity.

Coral Island, a new life sim game that is heavily centered around an ocean community, has finally launched on Steam in early access. The game can currently be snatched up for $24.99 and will be receiving regular updates. The project initially launched as a Kickstarter at the end of January of 2021. Within 12 hours, the game met its funding goal. Its success didn't end there. By the end of the Kickstarter campaign, backers had unlocked every single one of the game's stretch goals. Since then, Stairway Games has actively been updating players and working to implement promised features into the game.

What Features are in Coral Island

The game has launched with several of its promised features, including 25 marriage candidates who are ready to woo players. Currently, the game allows players to farm through four different seasons, participate in community projects, fish, go diving, and mine. There is a large list of things to do, especially for an early-access game, with over 70 plus NPCs already implemented. There's no shortage of lore to dig into. The ability to decorate your farm and house is even included in the current version of the game, something that Animal Crossing fans will greatly appreciate.

What's Coming Next for Coral Island?

Currently, the team is working on the next batch of features for Coral Island.  In addition, the developers have put out a list of which features they are actively working on:

  • Marriage
  • Children
  • NPC Storylines
  • Heart Events

Overwatch and its sequel, Overwatch 2, share a lot of similarities. While this may be true, the games have a few core differences in their gameplay or the philosophy behind each respective title. While some fans of the series will argue much has been lost since the first game, many others will praise perceived improvements made in Overwatch 2. We will examine each match objectively and compare them on their own merits. So, here is Overwatch vs. Overwatch 2.

Whether or not you enjoy the original game or the sequel. It can be agreed upon that both games have elements that make them shine. At the same time, some players may be reminiscent of the 6v6 gameplay. As well as how it affected team composition, many others could easily detract from this in favor of Overwatch 2‘s current 5v5 system. Minute changes such as this have an incredible impact on how the game is played. Do you prefer a  more tanky game? With more attrition-based team fights, or are you a fan of the newer system, let's compare Overwatch and Overwatch 2 below.

What are Overwatch and Overwatch 2?

Released in 2016, Overwatch is a hero shooter with MOBA elements. That pits players against each other in various objective-based game modes, with a traditional 6v6 team composition format that usually consists of two supports, two tanks, and two DPS characters. This team composition philosophy made team fights longer and would typically come down to which team could outlast the other. This is not the case in Overwatch 2, as teamplay is more based on individual performance. As opposed to team play itself.

While Overwatch 2 takes a more direct and skill-based approach to combat. It can initially be somewhat jarring for players returning to the series from Overwatch. This is not where the changes stop; this is just the beginning of the differences between these two titles. While many of the differences between these titles are gameplay based, there are quite a few that are not.

Pay to Play vs. Free to Play

One of the most glaring differences between Overwatch and Overwatch 2 is their price tag. While Overwatch serves as a full-price game, Overwatch 2 can be acquired by owning a copy of Overwatch or simply downloading the free game. This has opened the floodgates for new players into the series. Making Overwatch 2 free means that effectively anyone can play regardless if they paid or not. it can be argued that this is for the betterment of the game as it allows for a more healthy player base. Furthermore, removing the barrier to entry by Blizzard serves to keep the game population more stable and thriving in the future.

Loot Boxes vs. Battle Pass

Overwatch had a traditional loot box system for its progression of cosmetics and various other items. This has been done away with in Overwatch 2 in favor of a Battle Pass system. Like many other titles on the market, Overwatch 2 uses the Battle Pass system to entice players to progress through their tiers to gain more items. This change allows players to unlock things without the randomness of a loot box, opting instead for the transparent Battle Pass system. Many players have preferred this way of doing things, and while there are detractors on both sides, the answer to how this is handled is more complicated than some give it credit for.

Reworks and New HeroesGames Coming to PC October

There have been many heroes reworks in Overwatch 2. Taking their predecessor's lead and using its characters and building upon it.  Overwatch 2 has changed how these heroes function quite a bit. Adding unique damage passive ability to almost all the damage characters has given them more sustain and maneuverability by granting them damage and speed buff upon killing enemies. This change encourages players to be more aggressive in activating this passive. Additionally, this completely changes how fights play out in Overwatch 2 compared to Overwatch.

They make for a more fast-paced experience. The new damage passive changes the game quiet. Rewarding skillful deliberate gameplay as opposed to the more attrition-based system of Overwatch. Accompanying these recent damage changes are new heroes as well. Ranging in their class and functionality, these heroes seem welcome to the Overwatch 2 roster.

A roster bolstered by many new DPS characters accounts for over a third of the hero roster. Whether it is the tank and destructive Junker Queen or the Soldier 76 like Sojourn or the healer Kiriko. These new characters have been a smash hit among new and returning players to the series. In short, the changes and additions rework, and new heroes have made to the game compared to its predecessor are staggering.

So Overwatch or Overwatch 2?Best MOBA games of 2022

As with many things in life lot of these things come down to personal preference. Some players may enjoy the 6v6 model of Overwatch. While some enjoy the innovation of taking the team count down to five. Some players may like the changes to heroes, while some who are fond of Overwatch might find the old heroes they used to play with unrecognizable in their current state. I'm sure many players enjoy the new Free to Play model that Overwatch 2 has implemented. However, I can see people being more divisive about their new Battle Pass system. One might see it as a tedious grind with numerous tiers to unlock.

Overall, Overwatch 2 does a splendid job of building on the previous game in the series. However, some players may feel like this has come at a cost. I hope you enjoyed how we laid out comparisons and contrasts of each game to inform the player further. Whether you prefer Overwatch or Overwatch 2, both games offer much fun. Players of all different opinions can agree that the Overwatch series has some of the most fun gameplay moments available on the market. That can serve to be enjoyed by everyone.

So, without further ado, here are our picks for the 5 best point & click puzzle games of all time, ranked.

5. Machianium

Machinarium is a puzzle adventure game with a wonderfully woeful aesthetic. This aesthetic lends itself well to the game's bleak tone, making it stand out amongst other puzzle games. The player plays as a robot named Josef, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. After getting mistakenly involved with an organization known as the Black Cap Brotherhood. This organization plans to detonate the city tower and has also captured our hero's girlfriend and forced her into working for them. So naturally, this plot must be stopped, and it is through the game's puzzles that you progress the story.

All in all, Machinarium is a game that is sure to challenge the mind with very little handholding involved. Players seeking a challenge might very well enjoy this aspect of the game. Many players might also enjoy the dark nature of the game and find it intriguing. This game is undoubtedly a treat for those who want puzzle games that aren't so lighthearted. Machinarium is a game that players can enjoy regardless of their affinity for puzzle games. They are making it a fine addition to the world of point & click puzzle games.

4. Unpacking

Unpacking is a charming puzzle game with a relaxing feel to it. The fun and gameplay invoke an almost zen-like state as there isn't anything to stress out the player. Unpacking sees the player reflecting on these items and the associated times to unpack things from various points of the protagonist's life. Doing so will allow the player to learn the protagonist's story organically, piece by piece, throughout the game. This piecemealing of the narrative serves as an effective tool in telling the story.

In conclusion, Unpacking is a game that would appeal to many different types of players. It is this crossover appeal that makes the game enjoyable for a wide array of players. Whether they enjoy the act of cleaning out the virtual room or if they are interested in the narrative as it unfolds. The player will have a good time in this high-resolution pixel art puzzle game. This makes Unpacking an easy game to recommend to players regardless of their experience with puzzle games as a genre.

3. Day of the Tentacle

Day of the Tentacle is a gripping puzzle title. In this title, players will use time travel as the main narrative focus of the game. This also serves to tie into the gameplay of the game as well. While the player zips about, they will complete many puzzles, which allow them to switch characters. The actions of their time travel see them rubbing elbows with plenty of influential people from history. The game also shows the consequences of their meddling, with the end credits showing an edited American flag due to their tampering with time.

One of the more innovative aspects of the game that was unheard of at the time of its release was the ability to play the Commodore 64 version of the game's predecessor inside the game. At the time, this was a technological leap that game developers had not made yet. However, since the release of this title, many game developers have replicated the experience first created by Day of the Tentacle. In conclusion, this game has the heart and charm of an older title with the polish of a more recent one, with the game even being remastered, much like another entry on our list of 5 best point & click games.

2. Monkey Island

The Monkey Island series is an iconic puzzle title from yesteryear that has received a lot of love following its remake and remaster. Specifically for our list, Tales of Monkey Island, the fifth game in the series, takes the cake. While it may have been a literal decade between Monkey Island entries, Tales of Monkey Island was an actual return to form for the puzzler. The game was developed and published by Telltale Games, who later created The Walking Dead game series. This was news to many eager gamers ear when the game was released.

While some critics may not have thought that the writing lived up to other titles in the series, this game was lauded for its solid writing for its characters and narrative. These reasons make it one of the 5 best point-click puzzle games players can play. If players have not discovered the Monkey Island series and don't necessarily want to go back to the older games in the franchise, then this game serves as a perfect middle ground for players to enjoy.

1. Sam & Max

Sam & Max are puzzle game icons. The fact they are so popular within the genre is a testament to how truly iconic they are as characters. 2. My Time At Sandrock

My Time At Sandrock is the second My Time At series installment. Existing alongside My Time At Portia, My Time At Sandrock is a game based in a desert biome, filled with more lush greenery than Portia's location. My Time At Sandrock is connected to the other game, as they share a timeline. The game features genre staples such as farming, crafting, and gathering. Crafting and gathering are how most of the time in the game will be spent.

Possessing its unique charm, the land of Sandrock is quite endearing. The game certainly makes up for what it is missing in terms of foliage and Viewtiful vistas. While it lacks the lush greenery of Portia, there is also something beautiful about the scarce desert oasis. While the game might have a similar gameplay loop to its sister title, the identity of My Time At Sandrock is all its own. For this reason, we have no qualms with recommending My Time At Sandrock as the second entry on our list of 5 games like Coral Island.

The gameplay loop of Stardew Valley is immensely satisfying, and the ease with which players can understand and accomplish many things in the game is astounding.

Whether you are the type of player that likes to stick to farming or the adventurous type Stardew Valley has something to offer everyone. It is this variety in gameplay that keeps players returning again and again. Players who do not wish to farm can find themselves in the mines battling with skeletons if they choose. That being said, if players enjoy gardening, nothing hinders them from merely doing so throughout the game. This variability helps Stardew Valley stand out amongst its competition as one of the 5 best games like Coral Island.

5. Wylde Flowers

Wylde Flowers is a beautifully stylized game with many elements you will be familiar with in other farming simulation games. Players take on the role of Tara, a girl initially from the city that has moved to the more rural area of Fairhaven. Her purpose there is rather multifaceted. Serving to tend to a farm, fish, cook, and craft, Tara soon becomes essential to the city and its people. Wylde Flowers takes the formula popularized by games such as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley and adds its unique twist to them.

While the game does not hide its influences, it adds a mystical flair to them. This mysterious flair makes for a more exciting experience for those interested in the more magical elements of the game. However, Tara's journey to becoming a witch is one they have to discover on their own. Adding this element to Tara's character also opens up a new world of possibilities for the player. How will you choose to help the town of Fairhaven? All of this is up to you in this beautifully stylized title.

4. WytchwoodBest Games Like Little Witch in the Woods

Wytchwood is a game that is as enchanting as the magic used within it. This title is enveloped in an adorable aesthetic. However, while the game appears cute, some of its influences are anything but sweet. Players will explore to learn more about the world they inhabit by featuring a mix of gothic fairy tales nestled in its cozy charm. The world of Wytchwood is rather strange, with its mysteries and curiosities to discover. The lands you inhabit all have their unique charm and are an adventure to explore.

All in all, Wytchwood is a game that allows the player to become a witch in the classic sense, brewing potions and crafting spells. However, while it will enable the player to do so, the game does not feature a traditional combat system, instead opting for a trap system in which you can ensnare your enemies. Every enemy is not the same; however, each has its weaknesses that the player can exploit. Doing so will allow the player to get further into the game and obtain specific items. All this adventure and more await the player if they decide to play Wytchwood.

3. Sun Haven

Sun Haven is a terrific game that focuses on trade. Players can choose which profession best suits them to become as lucrative as possible or to enjoy themselves. Sun Haven even features questlines for the player to undergo, as well as romantic options for those who choose to woo their way through the game. However, romance and farming are not the only way to progress, as there is another land in which players can battle monsters called Withergate. In between trips to this area, players can tend to their crops which offers a more relaxing experience. Sun Haven also features multiplayer for those who want to explore these lands with friends. In conclusion, Sun Haven is a bright star who follows in the footsteps of games such as Potion Permit, which players should undoubtedly enjoy.

2. Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is an absolute icon among games of its type. This game charms the player relatively quickly by featuring farming, combat, and romance options. To offer a quick synopsis of the main story of Stardew Valley, the player character is whisked away to farm life at the behest of their dying grandfather. Through this move, they are encouraged to discover what is truly important in life. Working on the farm is framed as a path of self-discovery.

Players can also battle enemies. Battling enemies is done by visiting mines in the game. Doing so will allow players to fight slimes in the world's caves. Fighting these slimes will let you find and craft gear within the game. The items obtained from fighting in the mines also benefit the player. With so many options for the player to explore and a charming lovely world, Stardew Valley is undoubtedly one of the most solid titles of its kind. For players who seek an experience similar to Potion Permit, Stardew Valley offers a truly remarkable experience.

1. Littlewood

Littlewood is a town-building game that offers a lot of heart. After the player begins rebuilding the world after an unknown entity, a strange force saves the world, and Littlewood begins. Overwatch 2 is not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination. As no game is without its flaws, this sometimes makes it simpler to see what can be added to a game to solve a particular woe. With so many variables to balance and keep track of, it can sometimes be challenging to ascertain what the game needs. As some changes will be suitable for some and yet wrong for others. Without further ado, here are 5 things that would make Overwatch 2 better

5. Remove SMS

The SMS system has been one of the most glaring missteps for Overwatch 2. For those unfamiliar, SMS is a system in which players would have to give their phone numbers. As well as attach it to a Battlenet account. This was deemed unacceptable by most players. Several players have stated that it should be optional rather than mandatory, as some players wish to enjoy the game. The system was deemed unacceptable because of how invasive it is toward the player, with many players expressing their disdain for the system online. This has caused Blizzard to question their decision regarding the SMS system.

No matter which side of the  SMS issue that players stand on. One thing is sure: the community outrage over this issue has caused Blizzard quite a bit of trouble. While there are currently plans to roll back the system, how fans see it has already marred its reputation. This has led players to distrust the company and its ability to address player needs and concerns. Removing SMS is the first step in fixing what many consider a botched launch.

4. A Better Tutorial

overwatch

Overwatch 2 can be a somewhat complex game at times. As a result, the game's tutorial is relatively simple and has effectively been rolled over from Overwatch. This tutorial, however, is rather barebones and doesn't necessarily serve its intended purpose of teaching players how to play the game effectively. While it is technically accurate that the tutorial shows players what to do, either most players will skip the tutorial altogether, or it does not provide a precise representation of actual gameplay.

Showing the gameplay this way does a disservice to just how dynamic the Overwatch 2 gameplay can be. So it isn't easy to get an accurate feel for the game in the current hypercontrolled setting. Also, with hardly any variables in its current iteration, the tutorial does not serve the players well. Solving this issue would also solve many other problems with the game. Such as getting into games with players who haven't had a chance to learn. Having the tutorial tucked away in the menus is also a problem, as some players never find it. A better tutorial will make for a more knowledgeable player base and better Overwatch 2 games overall.

3. A Separate Queue for New Players

Adding a separate queue for ultimately new players will accomplish two vital tasks. First, new players will only play with new players, balancing matchmaking better. Secondly, it will allow players to learn the game in a space where they aren't pressured by being matched up with players with a higher skill level, as there are few feelings worse in a game than being wholly stomped on and dominated in a match. Allowing a separate queue for new players will accomplish both of these tasks relatively ergonomically.

Separating the queues would alleviate many matchmaking woes players tend to face. For example, being placed against a fully queued team when you are a solo player never feels good. As you are almost assuredly going to lose. Eliminating this problem would improve the player experience in both directions for those who seek a challenge and those who need to learn a bit more. In short, adding a separate queue for new players would solve many issues that currently ail Overwatch 2.

2. Push Gamemode Improvements

Push is a game mode that Blizzard added to the list of game modes in Overwatch 2. Unfortunately, the game mode has received a somewhat lukewarm reception from players. The game mode involves players pushing and controlling a giant robot instead of the traditional payload. This type of gameplay can be offputting for players initially. In addition, the mode requires a ton of communication to play effectively, and the game mode does not lend itself well to casual play.

Players on the losing end of a Push game will find it tough to return from a losing state simply because the game mode relies heavily on winning team fights at the start of the round. However, if players lose this initial fight, it becomes increasingly difficult to recover. However, there are a few potential fixes for this game mode, such as changing how the ten-minute timer works to allow teams to regroup and recover more effectively. In conclusion, adding purposeful changes to the Push game mode would help the overall player experience when playing this game mode, Overwatch 2.

1. Adding a PvE Game Mode

Adding a PvE game mode would improve Overwatch 2 significantly. Since Blizzard added PvE into Overwatch, it has become an element of the game with a niche fan base that sorely misses the experience in Overwatch 2. Serving to add to the game, rather than doing anything subtractive, a PvE mode would be a wonderfully welcome addition. Additionally, before the launch of Overwatch 2, one of the most praised elements of Overwatch was its PvE, which Blizzard stated they would expand upon in Overwatch 2. While this has not yet come to light, it would be wise for the developers at Blizzard to seize the opportunity with a PvE mode.

In conclusion, adding PvE to the game would only introduce more variety. Seeing that the PvE mode is currently sorely missed, it would be a no-brainer to add it to the game later. While Blizzard may not have implemented the feature at launch, a PvE mode for Overwatch 2 would undoubtedly be a hit with players. These are why adding a PvE mode is our top pick for 5 things that would make Overwatch 2 better.

So, what do you think of our list of the 5 things that would make Overwatch 2 better? Do you agree with our top five picks? Are there any games we should know about? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.

Overwatch 2 is a game that has a plethora of heroes. Ranging in their form and function these heroes make up the memorable roster for Blizzard's highly successful IP. One of the most important roles in the game, namely DPS is vital to a teams success in a match. Able to eliminate their enemies faster than your average hero, today we are here to shine a light on what we believe to be the 5 best DPS heroes in Overwatch 2. This list is in no particular order.

5. Ashe

Ashe is a character that received a lot of love since her launch in Overwatch. Much like Genji and other damage heroes on this list Ashe is also effected by the Damage Passive ability. While the only significant change to Ashe is a change to her ultimate Bob, she remains deadly in the right hands. Able to poke at enemies from great range as well as using her Dynamite to great effect. This can be combine with her range as well. Players who are skillful enough can launch the Dynamite and shoot at it to explode it early. This may lead to new openings for damage with this ability.

Ashe can also use her secondary ability to aid her mobility. Being able to propel herself to high places in which she can rain down damage from a vantage point. This can be a really good tactic to use depending on which map you choose to use it on. Her semi automatic rifle does a respectable amount of damage and can be used either scoped or  not scoped. Scoping in allows for more damage to be done at range. While not scoping in allows for a higher fire rate and versatility in close quarters situations. This versatility adds to the appeal of using Ashe as a DPS character. It is for that reason that Ashe comes in at the fourth spot on our list for the 5 best DPS heroes.

4.Soldier 76

Soldier 76 remains an extremely reliable pick in Overwatch 2. The sustainability of Soldier through the use of his biotic field means that he can handle some sticky situations that other characters cannot. This is great as Soldier works best from range. Unless, the player manages to land his helix rocket ability which does significant damage to enemies. Soldier thrives as a ranged DPS character that is simple to pick up yet hard to master. Soldier was initially so simple to play that Blizzard decided to add more recoil to his weapon to make for a more balanced experience.

One of the things that makes playing Soldier 76 such a forgiving experience is his easy to understand and accomplish ultimate ability. Serving as a weapon with perfect accuracy. If soldier can have an enemy in his sights he can hit them without technically having to aim. This can be a pain for characters on the enemy team if they cannot get to cover in time. All in all, Soldier 76 is an extremely solid pick in Overwatch 2 for one of the 5 best DPS heroes.

3. Genji

Agile and swift as his cybernetic body and blade, Genji is able to shred through enemies with his shuriken and of course, his sword. Genji is much more powerful than the Overwatch version of himself. This time Genji is boosted by a Damage Passive ability within the game. This ability makes it so that both Genji's movement speed as well as reload time are sped up after they eliminate an enemy. This can be used to great effect to make it so you zip through the enemy backlines with ease. This makes the hero a threat to healers and squishier characters especially. As  someone playing this hero can make quick work of them if they utilize his damage combo as well as the new Damage Passive.

It is for this reason that we believe that he is so good in his current state. Genji has always been dangerous in the right hands, with this passive buff however, he becomes even more deadly to the enemy team. With the hero being able to use his mobility to great effect. He manages to become a force to be reckoned with. The issues when playing against this hero are only compounded when they decide to use their ultimate abilities. As it can make short work of characters with lower health pools and even shred through tanks given the time and opportunity. Genji might not have undergone any significant changes however, he remains a solid pick for one of the 5 best DPS heroes.

2. Sojourn

Sojourn has been compared to Soldier 76. Featuring a similar playstyle but without the biotic field to heal them Sojourn manages to surpass Soldier in other ways. While she might not rely on hitscan as much as Soldier does, Sojourn certainly is reminiscent of the playstyle. Serving as an alternative to 76 Sojourn has a lane all her own as well. With an increased mobility with her slide as well as the power of her alt-fire capabilities that is charged by her primary fire. Sojourn is in a fantastic place right now as a hero.

Using her ultimate ability also makes it so that she does more piercing damage to her foes. This is a wonderful way to use Sojourn. Her added mobility plus utility of her abilities makes her a solid choice for anyone who wants to play a playstyle similar to Soldier 76 but with different abilities. All in all Sojourn is a much needed breath of fresh air for the DPS roster. This makes Sojourn a solid pick for the second spot of our list of 5 best DPS heroes.

1. Reaper

Reaper is an absolute tank shredder in Overwatch 2. While it is true that the hero was hard to deal with before, in Overwatch 2 Reaper truly reigns supreme. While it is true that Reaper's damage was slightly reduced, the reduction of his weapon spread balances this out quite well. Making Reaper a solid pick. Again Reaper is also effected by the Damage Passive that is across the board for characters in Overwatch 2. Managing to shred tanks and smaller health heroes as quick as he can shoot a few shotgun blasts. Reaper lives up to his name.

This isn't to say that Reaper is perfect. just that he has an insane amount of potential for damage in the right hands. With his Wraith form able to get him out of sticky situations. As well as the passive that allows him to gain health upon damaging enemies this hero is in a great place at the moment. While there are many players who believe that Reaper is too powerful, this can be mitigated by player skill. If players are able to keep away from Reapers close range shotguns then they are relatively safe. However, if Reaper uses his teleport ability to gain access to your teams backlines they might just find themselves reaped of their health. It is for this reason that Reaper is our top pick on this list.

So, what do you think of our list of the 5 best DPS heroes in Overwatch 2? Do you agree with our top five picks? Are there any games we should know about? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.

The game was developed by Team GrisGris and published by XSeed games. It began to quickly garner a lot of positive attention from critics and fans alike. The game is set in Fujisawa, Japan, and follows a group of high schoolers as things begin to go awry.

Corpse Party is a story-driven game, and the narrative takes precedence over the gameplay. However, players are able to withstand a certain amount of hits before they lose in this game. This can be seen in the absolutely unsettling gameplay of the game. The first-person perspective makes sure that all the horror is within the face of the players.

It is partially due to this fact that the game manages to be so visceral in immersive. This truly does make a difference to the overall player experience. In addition, one aspect that is used to great effect is the scarcity of items in the game which add another layer of panic for the player. Outlast Implements a battery system in which seeing in the game, for the most part, is reliant on your camera. However, this would be too simple as it also relies on the camera being charged. This element complements the gameplay quite well. Altogether, the Outlast series is one that players can enjoy if they simply want to be scared in a different way than most games. These playthroughs allow players to receive different bits of story information that they otherwise would not get. Offering a great glimpse into the world of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Blackwater. Overwatch 2 is a game that has been released to much fanfare in the competitive and casual gaming market. The game is a sequel to the highly successful Blizzard title Overwatch. The game features a smaller team roster that hopes to increase team cohesion. Communication with teammates as well as the role queue has been streamlined as well. This was done in hopes of making Overwatch 2  a better experience from a teamplay standpoint. Without further ado, below are Overwatch 2: 5 tips for beginners in Overwatch 2.

5. Team Composition is ImportantGames Coming to PC October

While it may be very enticing to simply play whatever character the player's heart desires this isn't exactly how Overwatch 2 works. With even more of an emphasis on team roles than its predecessor, the game is quite demanding in this regard. Whether it be a switch during the middle of a fierce game that had to be made, or something more fundamental no one enjoys playing with players who can't adapt. This can be seen in many forms, with players often being at odds with each other over their decisions.

That being said, it is important for players to be aware of Team Composition. This is what heroes make up the team and how they synergize with and match up against enemy players. For example, if an enemy Pharah is being rather pesky, it would be wise to switch to a character such as Cassidy or Soldier 76 to shoot her out of the sky. Doing things such as this will be sure to help your team to victory. So if your team ever needs a switch, don't be afraid to discuss the idea with your teammates. All in all, Team Composition is extremely important to Overwatch 2 regardless of the level of play. This is the first of our 5 tips for beginners in Overwatch 2.

4. Know your RoleBest MOBA games of 2022

Knowing one's role in Overwatch 2 is extremely important to the teamplay mechanics of the game. This manifests itself in many different ways. Whether you are a DPS character that is focused on shooting heads and racking as much damage as possible. Or one of the many other important roles that exist in the game. This can be a stalwart tank that focuses on defending their team or a specific position for leverage against the enemy.

Or perhaps you are a truly selfless support player healing your allies when they need you most. Either way, knowing your role in Overwatch 2 is exceedingly important. Players who fail to do this will be at a decidedly devastating disadvantage over players who do these things well. It is for this reason that it is so important to the overall player experience. Overwatch 2 is a game that thrives off of team and player synergy. This is essential to a victory for the player's respective teams. It is for this reason, knowing your role is the fourth tip that we have in our 5 tips for beginners in Overwatch 2.

3. Communication is Key

While it may seem like a no-brainer, teams that actually communicate effectively have a much higher success rate in matches. As compared to those that don't. With the added benefits of being able to relay enemy abilities and locations to teammates, communication is vital in a game like Overwatch 2. This can manifest itself in many ways as well. Whether it be an out-of-position ally or enemy, communication can make or break an encounter. Add the effects of these skirmishes up enough, and they will be able to lay out the flow of battle.

With wise players being able to predict what their teammates are going to do and synergize with these actions, communication serves as an extra weapon against opponents. If, for example, you find that your support is out of position and vulnerable, it would be wise to tell them to retreat. Doing so will make it so that you don't suffer any unnecessary losses to your team. Waiting for players to respawn and get to the frontlines can also take up a lot of time that would be better used in other ways. It is for this reason that communication is key in a game like Overwatch 2. Making it the third tip that we have in our 5 tips for beginners in Overwatch 2.

2. Use the Practice Range

The practice range is a wonderful tool for new players. The practice range serves the purpose of being an open area in which players can practice and learn new characters. Or brush up on old favorites, offering a danger-free zone where players can get damage stats on their weapons and abilities the practice range is vital for newer players. Featuring the entire roster of Overwatch 2 the practice range has a lot to offer new players in the way of knowledge about the game. Players are able to test mechanics as well as adjust settings in this place, and it can make a huge difference to gameplay.

The potential of a space such as the practice range is massive and often understated. While it may be overlooked by some, the practice range is a valuable tool in the hands of a wise player. It is for this reason that we choose it as the second tip on our list of 5 tips for beginners in Overwatch 2.

1. Simply Have Fun

Minecraft is a game that is relatively simple to pick up yet difficult to master. With various intricacies in how it can be played, Minecraft offers more than what meets the eye. Whether you are someone who has played for hours upon hours or a total beginner, we have you covered. These tips that follow are sure to be useful to you no matter your playtime in Minecraft.  Without further ado, here are our 5 Tips for beginners in Minecraft.

5. Start Punching Trees

As silly as it may sound, one of the best beginner tips for Minecraft is punching trees. With early-level items needing wood to be crafted, punching trees is essential to the Minecraft experience. Serving as one of the 5 tips for Minecraft punching trees will make sure you can craft items you need for later in the game. It does not matter which form of trees you punch, however. Oak, Birch, whatever will work as long as you can obtain wood from it.  Doing so will ensure that players are able to make the Crafting Table which is essential to the game.

Other than its obvious practical uses,  gathering wood is good for players that want to make a quick settlement for themselves. Doing so will add longevity to their playtime and make sure that they are safe from creatures that roam around the game's world night. This makes the gathering of wood really important, which can be done by punching trees. Once players are able to make pickaxes, however, they will be able to craft stone versions of weapons and items, granted they have the stone to do so. Much like the punching of the trees, gathering stone can be done by simply hitting the stone with your tool.

4. Use the Crafting Table

Using the Crafting Table is one surefire way to speed up your Minecraft journey. The Crafting Table makes it so that the player can craft items they need. These items range in their use and usefulness however; their importance cannot be understated. One of the best items in terms of utility, the Crafting Table makes it so the player can affect the world more to their liking. In Minecraft, this item is one that many players can benefit from crafting early. This can be done by simply using some wooden planks. The type of wooden planks used does not matter, as each type of wood can be used in creating a Crafting Table.

Serving to open up the world of the game through the use of other items, the Crafting Table is essentially what allows the player to make a house for themselves. This importance can not be understated. Outside at night, many creatures will attack and kill the player, causing them to lose all their items. Players will often keep one of these items within their house for ease of access. This makes the Crafting Table one of the easiest and yet essential items in all of Minecraft.

3. Learning when to Go Outside

While it may sound simple but going outside at night in Minecraft is one surefire way to get slain. With many different creatures to kill you, such as scary spiders and exploding Creepers, the Minecraft world is not so friendly to players when the sun goes down. These nocturnal foes will be your undoing unless you know exactly how to fend yourself against them. It is advised that players who do venture out at night make sure to carry at least a wooden sword or a bow and some arrows with them.

This mitigates the amount of damage that the enemies can do to you at nighttime. A torch is also of the utmost importance as it allows the players to see at night easier. While there may be many lucrative items out in the wilderness during the nighttime, it cannot be overstated how careful players must be. As Minecraft is a game that relinquishes players of their items upon death, it is important to know what you are getting yourself into. This makes it a very vital tip to know when and when not to go outside in Minecraft.

2. Prepare Before Going Mining

Mining is, as one could have guessed, essential in Minecraft. However, this is usually not a safe endeavor for players to undertake, certainly not alone. With many different pitfalls and enemies that players can fall into, Mining can be dangerous. It is always better to bring friends along when mining as they can help ensure your safety. A player that wants to rush in foolhardy will find that it is rather easy to die in Minecraft. It is for this reason that it is better to go in groups rather than solo. While many players who are geared may be able to venture out alone, this is not recommended for newer players as it can mean a swift and certain death.

There are ways to mitigate this risk, however, such as wearing armor or having better weapons, although these can not be unlocked by the player right away at the start of the game. It is for this reason that Preparing prior to going mining is a quick and easy tip for success.

1. Learn to Play with Friends

Playing with friends will allow players to learn the ropes of the game easier since they are also having fun while doing so. Additionally, players will be able to put into practice many of the tips listed here to help them on their Minecraft journey. Learning to Play with Friends will no doubt help the player regardless of skill level. Minecraft is not always a forgiving game, and players can lose a lot of items to inexperience. So when you can bring a friend, it is sure to help.

It is for this reason that we believe playing with friends is one of the best tips for beginners in Minecraft. Whether you are a player who wants to help create a house. Or someone who loves delving deep into the depths of the mines, all playing styles are valid. Players can even use whatever their strengths are to help each other in times of need. This makes it so that Minecraft is a game that players of all skill ranges and age ranges can enjoy. It is for this reason that Learning to Play with Friends is a great tutor in the world of Minecraft and should be used to help the player along. Serving as one of the 5 tips for Minecraft.
