The Marvel franchise is the gift that keeps on giving. From cinema to gaming, there's plenty in store for Marvel fans. In line with this tradition, Second Dinner has unveiled an innovative and action-packed collectible card game showcasing the most iconic characters from the Marvel Universe. Diving into this new game will feel like coming home for those familiar with Card Guardians or Hearthstone.

In every card collector or battler game, the key to success lies in crafting a remarkable deck. While some games might have challenging deck-building mechanics, Marvel simplifies the process, making it accessible to all. Still, it can be quite a challenge to grasp the essentials of building a formidable deck. Fret not, as we've got your back.

Whether you're a seasoned expert or a fresh-faced newcomer to card battles, get ready to uncover the Best decks in Marvel Snap (2023).

5. Zoo

marvel snap zoo deck card

This deck primarily holds 1-Cost cards and centers on the legendary comic book hero, Ka-Zar, also known as Kevin Plunder. Players can spread domination over the three locations with this deck using cheap cards. In most cases, this play confuses your opponent since they become unsure which area to play.

While this is a grand strategy to outcompete your opponent, getting most 1-Cost cards is challenging. Mainly because the Collection comes with only a handful of them, but fret not; you can still get the most out of the game with a Zoo Deck.

A formidable Pool 3 Zoo deck must feature the likes of Dracula, Ka-Zar, The Infinaut, Zero, Ant-Man, Sunspot, Iceman, and Squirrel Girl. To achieve optimal results, complement these cards with the inclusion of Cosmo, Lizard, and Armor.

However, beware of the lurking threat of Killmonger when wielding a Zoo Deck, as this card excels at obliterating 1-cost cards in play. You can counter this menace by strategically placing Armor in one location and stacking higher-cost cards in the other, rendering Killmonger's attack strategy less effective. This deck is ideal for novice learners to grasp what each card and their combos are capable of unleashing.

Here's the Zoo deck list:

1-cost: Zero, Ant-Man, Squirrel Girl. Sunspot, Iceman

2-cost: Lizard, Armor

3-cost: Cosmo

4-cost: Ka-Zar, Dracula

5-cost: Red Skull

6-cost: The Infinaut

4. Sera

Sera Monkey or Sera Miracle cards are extremely powerful. Almost as powerful as the Destroyer deck, which calls for you to know all your options. This deck is comparable to Bounce, although it doesn't come close to its absolute power. Nevertheless, you have solid prospects for Shang Chi, Enchantress, and Killmonger.

Sera grants you the power to unleash top-tier combos by reducing all your card costs by 1. This deck can give you victory over two or more locations in the right hands. However, you need to be creative in your thinking. For this reason, this deck is ideal for seasoned veterans or, if you're willing to put in work, learn the ropes of the game.

Here's a breakdown of the Sera Control deck:

1-cost: Kitty Pryde, Nova

2-cost: Angela, Scarlet Witch, Invisible Woman, Mysterio

3-cost: Bishop, Hit-Monkey, Killmonger

4-cost: Shang-Chi, Enchantress

5-cost: Sera

3. Discard

Discard deck

With the launch of M.O.D.O.K, Discard is proving to be a formidable choice that is reasonably consistent. This deck has a simple premise to it; discard the right card. In this case, we advise you to use Apocalypse as often as possible.

You simply can't go wrong with this deck unless you discard the wrong card. To avoid this risk, you can include America Chavez. Nebula is a crucial card in this deck; however, if you miss out on it, you can swap it with Sunspot. You can also swap Storm for Swordmaster. However, pairing Storm with Dracula works well.

Here's the deck list:

1-cost: Nebula

2-cost: Morbius, Wolverine, Swarm, Colleen Wing

3-cost: Storm, Lady Sif

4-cost: Dracula, Hell Cow

5-cost: M.O.D.O.K.

6-cost: Apocalypse, America Chavez

2. Zabu 4-cost

Another deck that you can't miss out on is Zabu. It is simply one of the best decks in Marvel Snap for its Ongoing ability. With this, you can reduce the cost of 4-cost cards by two. Moreover, you can also combine the deck with plenty of potent 4-cost cards.

Zabu is a powerful card, which, when combined with the likes of Shang-Chi, Shuri, and Moon Girl, you get enough power to oust your competitor. While some may believe that Stature decks don't make the cut, it depends on your game's strategy. If you find that the deck needs to be more formidable, you can replace Moon Girl, Lizard, Iron Lad, or Stegron.

Moreover, you can include various combos such as Absorbing Man and Shuri or Darkhawk and Black Widow.

Here's the deck list:

1-cost: Nebula, Korg

2-cost: Zabu, Jeff

3-cost: Polaris

4-cost: Darkhawk, Shang-Chi, Enchantress, Miles Morales, Rock Slide

5-cost: Stature, Black Bolt

1. Kitty Bounce

Kitty Bounce

Unbeknownst to most, low-cost cards can also unleash a major win. Kitty Pryde is a 1/0, placing the card in the low-cost category. But this card will keep low cards bouncing back to your deck. When Kitty Pryde returns to hand, the card gains a +2 power. When you combine these cards with The Hood, Falcon, Hit-Monkey, or Best, you can conquer all locations in 6 turns or fewer.

Furthermore, the introduction of Kitty Pryde has had a notable impact on the Dino archetype. The card enhances its strength significantly by creating a formidable combination with The Collector.

So, witness the mesmerizing dance of low-cost mastery as Kitty Pryde and her loyal companions strategically weave through the game, reclaiming their cards and reshaping the battlefield to their advantage

Here's the deck list:

1-cost: Kitty Pryde, The Hood,

2-cost: Angela, Mysterio, Jeff, The Collector

3-cost: Bishop, Pit-monkey, Beast

5-cost: Iron Man

6-cost: America Chavez

Brawl games, also known as brawlers or beat 'em ups, offer a unique and enjoyable gaming experience, from the fast-paced action to getting to knock the snort out of opponents as your favorite characters.

Nickelodeon, the network of animated wonders, joins the likes of Super Smash Bros and Brawhalla with their exclusive Nickelodeon Super Brawl series. Here, SpongeBob no longer lives in a pineapple under the sea but is out unleashing blows of fury.

The series launched its first console title in 2021 to ‘mixed or average reviews from Metacritic. Now the studio is back at it with a sequel, hoping to right their wrongs. Will the new title give the franchise a boost? Let's find out below as we draw parallels and similarities in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl vs Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

What is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is Ludosity and Flair Play Labs' first dip into the brawling genre. The game is a platform fighter where players take on other Nickelodeon animated characters in a marked arena. Hence, the title; platform fighter. The only way to win the game is to deal damage to your opponents, making it easier to knock them out of the arena.

What's more, the game uses the Super Smash Bros concept but spruces it with faster gameplay. This makes the game a worthy contender for Smash Ultimate, where the characters are aggressive and fast.

Moreover, the game contains 25 characters drawn from 17 Nickelodeon shows; each character is playable with close to 18 moves that they can execute. The characters also get their own stage based on their series. If you see a stage from the Avatar series, best believe your favorite Avatar character is coming out to play.

The best part about this game is the revival of old characters like Powdered Toast Man. For Nickelodeon fans, this game could turn out to be a smashing trip down memory lane.

What is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

After the launch of the first game, developers, Ludosity and Fair Play Labs are still working to unveil the sequel to the first title. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is an upcoming title that will continue the brawling adventures of beloved Nickelodeon characters.

For the avoidance of doubt, the game is a platform fighter pitting characters from various Nickelodeon franchises against each other.

The game clearly tells us the characters have not seen the last of their days as wrestlers. Expect to see Patrick back at it again, belly-slamming opponents into oblivion. However, this time the developers have a few tricks up their sleeves. The upcoming title promises new characters and improved gameplay.

Some new characters you will be seeing are; Gerald and Grandma Gertie (Hey Anorld), Ember (Danny Phantom), Nobert and Dagget (Angry Beavers), Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender), and El Tigre (El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera). A leaked artwork showcases the following five characters who may also be in the upcoming title's character roster; Donatello and Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Jimmy Neutron (Jimmy Neutron), Squidward (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Vlad Plasmius (Danny Phantom).

According to the developers,” Rebuilt and reimagined from the ground up, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 redefines what a Nickelodeon fighting game can be with new and revamped visuals, audio, animations, modes, stages, mechanics, taunts and move sets, competitively tuned for all levels of play”. Thankfully, we won't have to wait through epochs for its launch. Developers have confirmed the game's release across major platforms in Fall 2024.

Our article here tells you more about the upcoming Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

Gameplay

Foremost, as a brawler, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's gameplay is straightforward. You don't need to master instructions, since it's a relatively easy game to pick up and play.

Onto characters, the first title bestows your character with basic moves. You'll be able to run, jump, do a double jump, or a midair dash. Regardless of whom you choose as your wrestler, every character gets three distinct attacks; light, strong, and special. As you might have guessed, each attack varies in its damage output. The former is weak but quick, the middle is slower but powerful, and the latter varies with character.

Moreover, the game's fast-paced gameplay primarily sets it apart from other brawlers. This, in addition to its defense techniques. Unlike other games where spot dodging and rolling are your options, blocking or negating an attack is the only way to defend your character.

In contrast, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will stick to the tradition of 2D platform fighting. However, distinctions are present in its gameplay. Characters will get new move sets as well as horizontal attacks. The developer confirms the elevated gameplay as a “totally new fighting game experience.”

Moreover, the game introduces a Slime Meter that powers up your attacks and defenses. Once the meter fills up, you can opt to power up a special attack or activate your character's super abilities.

Furthermore, characters on Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl' 2 will have an improved design compared to the previous game. The developers said to Polygon, “We put a lot of effort into making each character feel unique, so we can cater to different types of gameplay.”

Verdict

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Vs Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

The imminent arrival of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has ignited a frenzy among gamers, eagerly anticipating its release. It's akin to unwrapping a brand-new car, peeling off the polythene from the seats and dashboard, and basking in the allure of that fresh car scent. The outlook is brimming with excitement for the first drive, even though the actual performance remains a mystery. These very emotions mirror our anticipation for this upcoming game. While the developers promise significant improvements, we hope it addresses the lackluster aspects of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

Until the sequel arrives, we'll remain loyal to what we already know. When it comes to the ultimate question of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl vs Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, our preference lies with the former.

There you go, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl vs Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 ? Do you have a preference? Will you be picking up Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.

The Final Fantasy series transcends mere games; it's a timeless legacy passed down through generations. With each new chapter comes the opus of wonder. For seasoned adventurers, this franchise has withstood the test of time. With 16 titles (20 if you include X-2, 13-2, Lightning Returns, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake) gracing its series, each game offers a wealth of adventure as standalone masterpieces. As a novice player, you can decide where to begin, for the journey into this enchanting universe can start with any title.

But there is much debate around the series' latest entrant and its predecessor. Final Fantasy 15 and 16 are the pinnacles of the franchises' success. Each boasts improved gameplay, graphics, and a captivating storyline. So which of the two takes the cake? Let's find out below in Final Fantasy 15 vs Final Fantasy 16.

What is Final Fantasy 15?

Final Fantasy 15 Vs Final Fantasy 16

As the title suggests, this is the fifteenth instalment of the Final Fantasy series. Making its debut in 2016, this title merges the old and new for a wholesome fantasy experience. Although fans of the series were not utterly impressed by the game compared to its predecessor, the developer, Square Enix, dared to step into unknown water to defy all our expectations.

Final Fantasy 15 takes place in the land of Eos. Like any other game where liberation takes the core, an unruly reign by Niflheim threatens the sovereign structure of the nation. Sticking to tradition, the game bestows the role of hero on the to-be-king, Noctis Lucis Caelum. He doesn't take on this perilous journey alone; he is accompanied by three friends; Ignis Scientia, Prompto Argentum, and Gladiolus Amicitia.

The game depicts the theme of friendship as the four characters travel to retrieve a stolen artifact. It gives you something to relate to. For instance, for the Prince, his success depends not on who he is but on the actions and relations he creates. You may eventually stop the bad guy and restore normalcy to Eos, but these are not the only highlighting moments.

Furthermore, the game takes an absolute turn from turn-based systems, introducing a new real of real-time combat. The game's active x battle system is the closest any game in the franchise has gotten to full-on-real-time battles-except Final Fantasy 16.

What is Final Fantasy 16?

Final Fantasy 16

The latest entrant in the series, Final Fantasy 16, steps into the shoes of predecessors, sticking to the core theme of humanity. The game reminds us of the intricate values that shape society amidst a Game of Thrones-themed visual. This 16th title debuted in 2023 and launched as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 5.

Like its predecessor, the storyline centers on the magical powers of the Crystal. This time, the story takes place in the fictional Valisthea. The land is full of magical crystals that grant mythical powers to its inhabitants. However, a ravaging Blight causes the Crystal's aether to run low.

In the midst, the protagonist arises. Clive Rosfield is the firstborn son of one of the core nation's ruling families. In his journey, Clive is joined by Torgal, his hound, and Cidolfus Telamon.

The game continues with the legacy set by Final Fantasy 14 by gearing the franchise to a more fantasy outlook, more of a Westeros appeal. The developers seemingly communicate that this is a serious video game for grown-ups. However, despite the obscene language and gory deaths, the essence of Final Fantasy still remains.

Additionally, this iconic series undergoes a transformative metamorphosis, departing from its traditional RPG roots to embrace a new evolution within the character action genre. The title merges lightning-quick reflexes with the intricacies of character-building RPG mechanics. Though not without flaws, the combat achieves brilliance within the realm of action RPGs.

Gameplay

Final Fantasy 15 Vs Final Fantasy 16

The Final Fantasy series is known to be one to shake things up. This is highly apparent in the franchise's previous titles. Final Fantasy 16 deviates from the RPG foundation and builds on character action. The game takes a modem approach to fantasy, granting boundless yet limited exploration opportunities.

From face value, both games introduce new characters and fantasy locations where the action occurs. As standalone titles, you need not complete one game to comprehend what the other entails. Perhaps the franchise's true enchantment lies in weaving uncharted destinies and vibrant personas while steadfastly embracing the very essence that breathes life into its core.

Moreover, FF 15 provides the option of choosing between party members. You can play as Prince Noctis or control one of his friends, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus. Each companion serves a different combat role; you can equip them with a primary and secondary arm.

In contrast, FF 16 grants you control over one character, the protagonist. AI controls the rest of the party. Moreover, Clive's hound companion can perform special attacks when instructed and also heal your character.

Additionally, combat remains to be critical in both titles. The action occurs in real-time in both games; however, FF 15 spruces things up with the active x battle system. The system integrates realism in battle, with mid-fights ensuing when you least expect it. Moreover, the change from combat to explorations, and vice versa, is seamless. FF 16 enhances this combat system and adds a touch of cinematic panache to it.

Furthermore, while FF 15 occurs in an open-world environment, FF 16 features segmented open environments. You can explore the land masses in both games on foot or via Chocobos. The Chocobos are galliform birds present in the series.

Verdict

When all is said and done, only one will emerge victorious. Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you Final Fantasy 16. The game puts cinematic storytelling on the map while adhering to core pretexts that give the Final Fantasy series its glory.

Not to say that its predecessor is a lesser game. No Sirree! In fact, Final Fantasy 15's open world nails exploration, granting players countless hours to traverse the meticulously detailed environment. FF 16's semi-open world limits exploration. This could be why Square Enix took less time to develop the game than its counterpart.

Nevertheless, both titles are exquisite productions of the developer, but granted the enhancements in the new title, our scales tip in favor of Final Fantasy 16.

So, what's your take? Do you agree with our Final Fantasy 15 vs Final Fantasy 16 verdict? Let us know your thoughts on our socials here.

For 40 years, the Nobunaga's Ambition series has propelled the turn-based grand strategy RPG simulation genre to new heights. In 1983, the series released its first of many games to come, maintaining a relatively steady stream of releases until the latest Nobunaga's Ambition: Taishi in 2017. Now, the 16th entry of the beloved series is out, and fans of traditional feudal Japan settings like myself can’t sit still. Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening follows a powerful Japanese leader called Daimyō and tasks him with conquering and unifying the Warring States of 16th-century Japan.

You’re free to choose nearly all aspects of the game, which translates to lots of strategic thinking and planning ahead. You can choose time periods and the clan you’ll rule over, typically starting with a small clan and nurturing its people to their full potential. As you can imagine, being the head of a clan isn’t like a walk in the park. You’ll have to make tough economic and diplomatic decisions and sometimes be forced to use military force to unify the country.

No worries, though. We’ve compiled Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening best tips for beginners to help give you a head start so you can forgo the gruesome pain of learning the ropes and jump straight into enjoying the fantastic grand strategy playthrough Awakening has to offer.

5. Take Time Going Through the Tutorial, It Helps

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening

From the get-go, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening dumps on you an information-heavy tutorial to help you learn the ropes. It’s quite a lot to remember in the short amount of time the tutorial runs for. There are menus to explore, mechanics, units, and a massive map to wrap one’s head around. All of this is shown to you via speedy run-throughs and texts that help explain how each element works.

Despite how overwhelming it can seem and how tempting it is to forgo absorbing so much information, it’s pretty useful down the road. So, try to take down notes. Or simply to pay attention to the core gameplay illustrations. Because, for one, the tutorial cramps everything you need to know about the game and delivers it to you right up front. And two, all of it actually comes in handy when navigating the game.

4. Make Good Use of Retainers

You didn’t think unifying the whole of Japan was entirely up to you, did you? The good news is you do get help from people called retainers. These are AI officers capable of thinking and making decisions as per their own judgment. Their role is to advise you on the way forward. They do so by submitting proposals to you, which you can choose to employ in your battle strategy.

As far as retainers go, try not to ignore their submissions completely. In fact, some of the suggestions are pretty grand and can save you a lot of trouble. They can recommend promotions and gold expenditures or advise you on whether a tactical assault makes sense. In the long run, retainers save you money and headaches down the road.

While at it, you may want to take note of retainers who come through with feasible plans. Then, promote them so they get a boost of their skills and abilities. Say, a retainer has helped you win a battle. You can promote them so they receive buffs like quicker refills of their Equipment Gauge Restoration meter.

3. Landholders Should Stay Close

In addition to retainers, you can delegate “lord” and “landholder” roles to people in the clan. While lords are heads of castles, landholders manage their own territories while also helping lords with their duties. Lords and landholders work in tangent with one another, with the landholder role running more extensively.

Now in real life, it may make sense to spread out landholders so they cover as much land, and thus territory, as possible. However, it can cause more harm than good because landholders and lords often rely on one another. Essentially, the closer they are to each other, the easier they can work together to improve the clan’s status, resulting in stronger territories against enemy troops.

Speaking of lords and their castles…

2. The Way of the Castle

Nobunaga’s Ambition Awakening retainers

Castles have varied roles. Some are built as a defense base to withstand siege attacks. Others are more of a “helper” base to support the main base. So say enemy troops invade a defense base, and the castle starts to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies, they can draw more soldiers to protect it from falling from the helper base.

There’s also a “resupply” base. This helps provide additional supplies to marches and soldiers on long-term expeditions who may pass by on the way to their next battle. Castles also work in tangent with one another, the same way landholders and lords do. So, strategic placement of castles (and landholders) is necessary to effectively run civil affairs and protect your clan from enemy invasion.

1. War Tactics

Since you can employ four war tactics: joint, ranged, bolster, and feint, it’s important to consider them all extensively before making a decision. If you’re an aggressive type of player, you may want to go for the first three.

A joint attack combines all troops, marching them off toward the same target. On the other hand, ranged spreads out your troops to march toward multiple castles of the same enemy clan and attack them all at once. Lastly, bolster sends out backup to allied troops in another province.

If none of the aggressive tactics work for you, you can use feints to lure the enemy out of the safety of their borders and find creative ways to take them down. Often, feint helps to save as many of your soldiers as possible, seeing as the enemy troops won’t have the protection of their castles. Still, if your troops aren’t strong enough, they can get easily wiped out.

On the flip side, several war tactics help create plenty of room to choose a defense strategy plan wisely. Precisely, where to deploy your defense and how to intercept enemy troops at the points where they expect it least.

In the adrenaline-fueled car racing genre, two giants have emerged; Forza Horizon and The Crew Motorfest. Each vying for the coveted title of being the definitive racing game experience. Admittedly, Forza Horizon is the long-standing champion. The franchise has dominated the genre for decades with its cutting-edge graphics and intense surrealism. However, a new kid on the block may be giving the franchise a run for its money.

The Crew Motorfest is an upcoming racing title that's already whirling up a frenzy in the gaming world. Primarily for its striking resemblance to Forza Horizon's concept- a conglomerate of races taking place during a festival.

But can The Crew Motorfest seize the checkered flag of victory, or will it succumb to the legacy established by Forza? Prepare yourself for the ultimate showdown of speed titans as we pit Forza Horizon against The Crew Motorfest to determine the true ruler of the racing realm. Here's Forza Horizon vs The Crew Motorfest.

What is Forza Horizon?

Forza Horizon

Forza Horizon, developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios, has become a standout title in the racing game genre since its debut in 2012. Its legacy is etched in the chronicles of gaming history, enticing players with cutting-edge graphics, an extensive fleet of legendary cars, and a heart-pounding sense of speed.

The game's defining feature is its immersive open-world setting. Each game in the series takes place in a different locale, offering players diverse environments to explore. From scenic Colorado in Forza Horizon to picturesque Australia in Forza Horizon 3 and beautiful Britain in Forza Horizon 4, the series showcases stunning landscapes and varied terrains.

Players can roam the vast open world, participate in many events, and discover hidden collectibles. The dynamic day-night cycle and weather system add an extra layer of realism, making the experience truly immersive. While some racing games focus on hyperrealistic simulations, Forza Horizon delivers a unique and enjoyable experience that caters to a broader audience without sacrificing the thrill of racing.

What is The Crew Motorfest?

Forza Horizon

Ubisoft Ivory Tower is cooking up a new open-world racing game that, in a great deal, compares to Forza Horizon. The game seeks to breathe life into a decade-old series, The Crew. The series, a product of Ubisoft Ivory Towers' creation, launched in 2014 to a mixed reception. Users cited issues of technical glitches and others due to the game's always online aspect. But this didn't quell the developer's ambitious move of transforming racing.

The upcoming title is a sequel to The Crew 2 and is the third title in the series. As stated, the game will feature a similar premise to Forza Horizon. Instead of Colorado's flashy and scenic streets, The Crew Motorfest takes you on a wild ride to tropical O'ahu. So gear up for the ride of your life.

The good news is you won't be waiting in the epochs for long, since the game is expected to launch on September 14, 2023.

Furthermore, the game won't limit you to racing cars. Players can ride a boat or opt to fly a plane. Plus, the game's car collection is insane. It doesn't limit you to supercharged cars only. You can cruise the streets in a monster truck or leave dust clouds in your wake with an F1 automobile.

Gameplay

Forza Horizon Vs The Crew Motorfest

One of Forza Horizon's greatest strengths is its accessibility to seasoned racing enthusiasts and casual gamers. The game strikes a perfect balance between arcade-style gameplay and realistic driving mechanics. As a beginner, you can enjoy the game's forgiving physics and driving assists. Advanced players can fine-tune their driving skills with manual shifting and simulation-like settings.

Moreover, Forza Horizon boasts an extensive collection of hundreds of meticulously recreated cars, each with unique handling characteristics and performance attributes. Youcan own and modify your dream cars, from classic models to the latest supercars, which adds a sense of personalization and ownership to the gameplay.

The game's detailed customization options allow you to tune and upgrade vehicles to suit different terrains and racing disciplines. This depth of customization extends to visual modifications, letting players add decals, paint jobs, and body kits to create truly unique rides.

In contrast, The Crew Motorfest introduces Playlists – a series of thematic episodes where seasonal rewards, unique events, and vehicles beckon from the horizon. Each playlist features a distinct design to “immerse you in a different car culture universe.” Furthermore, the new title will offer various vehicle options, from electric supercars to vintage classics.

Graphically speaking, The Crew Motorfest is on a collision course with Forza Horizon. This is especially true considering the new title's graphics are a significant upgrade from its predecessor. Although the developer has not hinted at a day/night cycle, the realism in the game is unmatched.

Additionally, The Crew's customization feature promises to be a fresh air to breath in spring. The customization is like nothing we've seen from the beta versions. It allows players to tweak their cars both inside and outside. Conversely, Forza Horizon fans will also get access to this level of customization.

Verdict

To put things in perspective, Forza Horizon is a beloved game for its spectacular graphics and realism. Undoubtedly, the game takes the cake for precise car handling mechanics. The Crew Motorfest's handling may not match up to Forza, but it's on the right track.

That said, The Crew Motorfest promises a wealth of exciting gameplay, from flying planes to driving boats and cars. Also, its open-world environment with stunning graphics is one to behold. However, Ubisoft Ivory Tower still has quite the journey to match up to Forza Horizon's excellence. Granted this fact, playground Games needs to be on their feet working on the next big thing. But in the meantime, our vote goes to Forza Horizon for still being the undisputed champ of the racetrack.

The Crew Motorfest will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. You can read more about the game in our article here.

Red Dead Redemption, the beloved Western action game from Rockstar Games, is set to make its debut on new platforms.

The company has officially announced that the 2010 classic and its Undead Nightmare expansion will soon be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

According to information on the Red Dead Redemption website, the digital release will launch on August 17.

“Experience the epic Western adventure Red Dead Redemption and its groundbreaking zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare, as both games come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 for the very first time in a single package,” a statement from Rockstar reads.

The game is already accessible on Xbox platforms, including Xbox Series X/S through backwards compatibility. The Switch and PS4  expansion opens up new avenues for players to immerse in the Old West setting. Notably, the title will also be playable on the PS5. Therefore, even the latest generation of console users can relive the Wild West adventure.

It's important to clarify that this release is not a full-scale remaster or remake. Rather, it is a port with some enhancements.

One of the notable updates is the inclusion of support for additional languages, catering to a more diverse player base. Moreover, PlayStation users can look forward to Trophy support, adding a new layer of achievement-driven gameplay to the experience.

However, it's worth mentioning that this re-release does not include online support, focusing instead on delivering the core single-player experience that made the original game so beloved.

Double Eleven Studios is working on the Red Dead Redemption version for Switch and PS4. The studio has previously worked on titles such as  Fallout 76, Minecraft Dungeons, Crackdown 3, and Limbo

Red Dead Redemption will cost $49.99, and will also include the Undead Nightmare DLC. A physical edition will launch on October 13.

With over 50 playable wrestlers to choose from, it can be tricky to choose which wrestler to play in AEW: Fight Forever. More so because, unlike other professional wrestling franchises like WWE 2K, AEW: Fight Forever doesn’t attach any rankings to a wrestler. So it comes down to which wrestler you fancy the most, along with their skills and perks like signature and finisher moves that suit your playstyle the best.

One way is to experiment with each wrestler to find the one that marries well with your playstyle. But that can take ages to settle on the best one. You may also choose a legendary wrestler after your own heart. However, unlike WWE 2K23’s whopping 248 characters, AEW: Fight Forever narrows down its roster to a tight ship of only the most elite superstars and legends of wrestling.

To help you save precious time experimenting and spend more of it showing off your best moves, here is a list of the best wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever.

5. Custom Wrestler

Custom Wrestler AEW: Fight Forever

It would have been superb to download other players’ best custom wrestlers. Also, AEW: Fight Forever’s customization palette can use a little more love to match up to the extensivity in WWE 2K23. In any case, don’t let those few hiccups stop you from creating your very own mega-superstar. And thanks to a Reddit forum, you can get a kickstart using the CAW (Create-a-Wrestler) formulas other players have come up with. And in this way, you know the entries are tried and true.

So, what’s a custom wrestler, exactly? Well, it’s a way to create a wrestler from scratch. You can choose their name, hometown, gender, pose, face type, eyes, body type, muscle, height, weight, and down to the entrance attire you’d like. When you’re finished selecting your preferred options, you’ll save the newly created character and see them appear at the bottom of your regular roster for you to play as.

You can create a slight variation of legendary wrestlers or even customize wrestlers after pop stars like Prince! A custom wrestler is the best way to go outside your comfort zone and create a wrestler that truly takes after your heart.

4. Cody Rhodes

Next up, we have Cody Rhodes, an American professional wrestler popularly known for starring in the documentary, “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes.” He’s one of the top wrestlers whose path to the top hasn’t been smooth. He talks about his past, growing up as the son of Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. He carved his own path and learned to trust his instincts, which must have been right because they led him to the highest echelon of professional wrestling.

Unfortunately, Cody Rhodes isn’t immediately available to play when you boot up your AEW: Fight Forever. However, when you stack up 10,000 in-game bucks, you can unlock him at the shop. Onward, Cody Rhodes will become a go-to wrestler, particularly because of his momentum gain. Unlike other wrestlers, Cody Rhodes quickly charges up his momentum, which is handy for using signature and finisher moves. All you need to do is land a successful offense and avoid incoming hits as much as possible, and you’ll be good to take advantage of his special moves over and over.

3. Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley, also an American professional wrestler, is one of the frontiers in driving All Elite Wrestling to success. He was a former one-time WWE. Now he’s reverted to his Combat Zone roots, scooping up three-time world champion status at AEW. If you’re the aggressive type of wrestler, Jon Moxley is perfect for you, evidently striking as one of the most violent wrestlers in the game. You can also use Moxley in extreme no-rules matches like Ladder, Lights Out, and Exploding Barbed Wire.

Among Moxley’s strengths is a killer finisher move called Paradigm Shift or Death Rider. It’s rated at a full five-star and is powerful enough to take down your opponent in one move (or submission). On the other hand, Moxley’s signature move is a four-star Gotch Style Piledriver move that your opponent can come back from. However, use it to prime your opponent’s head for the finisher move, and you’re good to go.

2. Paul Wight

Paul Wight

Another American professional wrestler to consider is Paul Wight. He stands gigantically tall at a whopping seven feet. That, and his career swopping countless championships and over two decades in the ring, has made Paul Wight a household name. Choosing him, though, will have to employ some kind of strategy.

See, Wight is the largest wrestler in AEW: Fight Forever. So, competing against smaller wrestlers is a piece of cake because they struggle to lift you up. Meanwhile, you can perform sneak attacks on them, landing hits and finishing with powerful slams to win.

1. Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega

Many players gravitate toward Kenny Omega for good reason. A Canadian professional wrestler, Omega has a whopping five finishing moves and four signature moves under his belt. It makes him the most versatile wrestler to switch up moves on the fly. And when you use the famous One Winged Angel (shout out to Final Fantasy fans), you’re guaranteed to land yourself a most satisfying victory.

There are many more Omega video game references to speak of, including his signature hard-running knee strike, V-Trigger, from the Street Fighter series, and one of Omega’s entrance attire closely resembling Sephiroth’s in Final Fantasy 7.

All in all, it’s no secret that Kenny Omega is one of the best wrestlers in the world. His most memorable performances span all across Japan and America, and he’s won numerous titles in Impact, AEW, and NJPW, among others. Quite surprising that WWE hasn’t wooed him yet. Nevertheless, AEW recognizes the value he brings to the table and doesn’t hesitate to place him at the center of nearly every official AEWvideo game coverage out there.

So, what’s your take? Do you agree with our best wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever? Are there more wrestlers we should know about? Let us know over on our socials here.

Away from the bloodshed and intense, action-packed escapades that other RPGs have; how about an old-fashioned game of farming? Now, you might think farming sounds monotonous at first, but that perception will change once you immerse yourself in the captivating world of GIANTS Software's farming simulation game.

There's always something about nurturing a thriving farm, tending to crop, and reaping the bountiful harvests, which fills your heart with warmth and contentment. These games are perfect for a casual and relaxing gaming experience, providing a soothing escape after a long, exhausting day.

If you've ever dreamt of becoming a farmer, these two extraordinary games will awaken you at dawn and virtually place you in your own farmer boots. We’ve set off to compare GIANTS installments in their farm simulation series to deduce which one takes the cake. Sow, without much further ado, here’s Farming Simulator 22 vs Farming Simulator 23.

What is Farming Simulator 22?

Farming Simulator 22

Farming Simulator 22 is exactly as the title portrays it, an arduous and immersive agricultural experience. The game methodologically takes you through the ideal life of a smallholder farmer with a rags-to-riches aim. There are no shortcuts to this; you must put in the work to reap bountiful harvests.

The game provides a handful of tutorials from the menu. You can read this to learn how to convert your lands from parchments of dirt to a money-making venture.

The game’s aim is straightforward- make your land productive. It's a heavy-going process; you need to plan your farm, manage the crops and animals and do a bit of clearing too.

Farming Simulator 22’s mechanics gradually unfold with every task. Like an easily untangled thread and forgiving instructor, the learning curve in this endeavor is surprisingly smooth.

At the crack of dawn, your character wakes up to a list of chores, from harvesting the wheat to weeding the canola plants and more. It’s an accurate depiction of the toil surrounding farming in real life. Fret not; you’ll have tools to make your work easy -board the tractor to till your fields, readying it up for the next round of planting.

Admittedly, if the agrarian odyssey doesn't appeal to you, you’ll easily get bored with Farming Simulator 22. Don’t expect the scarecrow to turn into a monstrous beast where you’ll need to summon magic seeds to take it down. It's quite simply a farming game where you farm!

What is Farming Simulator 23?

Farming Simulator 23 picks up on the crop-tivating adventures laid out by its predecessor, Farming Simulator 22. Like the previous game, there’s no overarching goal-you simply need to make more money to buy more land and expand your inventory of farm equipment.

Like the previous game, you get to plow your fields, breed your animals and manage your farm. But this time, you can do so while on the go. As the 12th installment in the simulation series, the game is the first to be accessible on portable devices, after Farming Simulator 19. This includes the Nintendo Switch consoles, iOS and Android devices.

We recommend playing the game on the Switch consoles. Owing to the heavy graphics of the semi-open world, the game loads better on Switch than on Mobile devices. It is an expensive option compared to Android or iOS, but the experience makes it worthwhile.

However, the Switch versions feel bland and dated. Farming Simulator 19 had more to offer in terms of exploration. The game’s map was big enough to accommodate a train for players to use when touring the farm. With 23, the radius is significantly smaller.

Despite this, Farming Simulator 23 sticks to precedence by using modern brands in their tools and equipment. Everything is impressively detailed, akin to Old MacDonald’s Farm receiving a remodel from the Homestead Rescue. The game adds 15 new brands, including Landini, Welger, and TMC Cancela.

Gameplay

Farming Simulator 22 Vs Farming Simulator 23

Farming Simulator 22 introduces a new feature where players can clear their fields of stones and forests. For Animal Crossing enthusiasts, this is a familiar activity.

We see the same replicated in the game's successor, but crop growing has a profound difference. In 23, the entire gaming experience exudes a newfound sense of speed, with crops maturing faster.

Moreover, it also introduces the seamless tool attachment to vehicles by simply driving into them. Gone are the days of lingering in anticipation and puzzling over tool-to-tractor matches.

Furthermore, there's plenty more to do in Farming Simulator 22 thanks to its three bigger semi-open worlds; Haunt-Beyleron, Elmcreek, and Erlengrant. Following the Platinum Expansion release, the developers added a new map-the Silverrun Forest Map. The map unfolds layers of activities like building boats and planting trees. In contrast, Farming Simulator 23 offers two maps, Neubrunn and Amberstone. Besides their respective German and American settings, that’s pretty much about it for the maps.

Also, Farming Simulator 22’s seasonal system propels the game to a new level of immersion. This system forces players to plant seeds only when the time is right. The system mimics the four seasons, which guide your planting, harvesting, and selling activities. This system plays with the demand-supply technique. Leveraging on the changing weather, you can increase your product’s pricing when the supply is low, and the demand is high.

Verdict

At the end of the road, Farming Simulator 22 and 23 stand tall as shining examples of excellence, each proudly boasting unique merits. Farming Simulator 22 gave us a complete dive into the farming world, grappling with formidable foes such as weeds and pests while working the machines. The game’s impressive attention to detail was replicated in the sequel. However, Farming Simulator 22’s graphics are significantly better, mainly because the game runs on the new generation consoles.

On the other hand, Farming Simulator 23 has fewer vehicles and machines, but it's cheaper. You may miss out on beekeeping, but the game’s chicken-rearing feature makes up for it.

For newcomers to the genre, Farming Simulator 23 serves as an excellent starting point, allowing you to grasp the fundamentals before exploring the glimmering realms of its richer and more elaborate predecessors.

Natsume Atari and Tango Project have joined forces to embark on an exciting endeavor – the revival of the legendary Shadow of the Ninja. For devoted Nintendo veterans, this title holds a special place in their hearts. Praised by GamePro as the “Greatest Hits,” it earned an exceptional 23/25 score, solidifying its status as a gaming gem. Now, the time has come for the game to undergo a magnificent makeover tailored to captivate the modern audience.

Introducing KAGE: Shadow of The Ninja, a thrilling new game that faithfully follows in the footsteps of its Nintendo Entertainment System predecessor. Prepare to be immersed in the gripping world of ninja action through an enthralling two-player side-scrolling experience. If this entices your gaming senses, stay with us as we unveil everything we know on KAGE: Shadow of The Ninja.

What is the KAGE Shadow of the Ninja?

KAGE Shadow of the Ninja is a side-scrolling shadow strike game by Natsume Atari. The studio was behind the masterful creation of the original title for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Interestingly, the game was released in Australia and Europe as Blue Shadow. In Japan, it debuted as Yami no-Shigotonin Kage. Aside from the name changes, the game is pretty much the same.

Moreover, the new title will feature top-notch pixel art quality, as seen in Natsume's Pocky and Rocky Reshined. So gear up for intense ninja action in glorious and magnificent 16-bit pixel art. These mesmerizing visuals will transport you to a time machine of pure gaming nostalgia, invoking cherished memories from the past.

Story

Being a remake, we expect the game to stick to the storyline in its original title. For those who may not be familiar with Shadow of the Ninja's storyline, allow us to elaborate:

In feudal, futuristic New York, a pair of Ninja assassins emerge as the saviors to rid America of the tyrannical rule of an evil dictator. Lord Hayate and Lady Kaede, ninja senseis from the Iga clan, rise up and take the mantle of defending America from the evil emperor Garuda.

Along the way, they face mighty bosses and cunning adversaries and discover secrets about their own lineage. As their bond strengthens, they confront the Shogun in an explosive showdown, unleashing their true ninja power.

What’s more, the story revolves around self-discovery, loyalty, and the resilience of the human spirit, inspiring future generations to embrace the shadows and stand against the darkness.

Gameplay

The side-scrolling venture features two playable characters; Hayate and Kaede. Hayate is the next ruler of the Ryuuha Shippu. His perks include the pinnacle of ninja assassination. However, his short temper can be an obstacle in tasks. The other playable character is Kaede. In contrast to Hayate, she has a much calmer demeanor.

Also, the new title sticks to the traditional two-player action. One player controls Hayate, while the other controls Kaede. In the previous title, both characters shared the same level of ninja mastery. Natsumo is yet to reveal whether the remaster will grant the duo new skills.

Like most side scrollers, crouching, running, jumping, climbing ladders, and attacks are your movement options. Occasionally, players will need to grab onto an overhang or move underneath it.

Furthermore, the previous title bestowed a kusarigama and a katana to the characters. If you're unfamiliar with Japanese weapons, the former is equivalent to a billhook or sickle. The latter is a curved single-edged blade. We are yet to see what’s in store with the new title as far as weapons are concerned.

Development

KAGE Shadow of the Ninja

As stated, Natsume Atari is behind the wheel in this game's creation. Who is Natsume? You may wonder. Well, Natsume Atari is a renowned game developer who weaves captivating tales through their enchanting creations. Their expertise combines nostalgia and innovation to craft games catering to diverse interests and age groups.

Moreover, one of their most cherished series is Harvest Moon, a heartwarming farming simulation that allows players to cultivate crops, raise livestock, and build relationships in a wholesome, immersive world. Additionally, they offer the serene experience of Reel Fishing, the action-packed adventure of Wild Guns, the imaginative battles of Medabots, and many other delightful titles. Natsume Atari inspires awe and admiration with each game, leaving a lasting mark on the gaming universe with their inventive and enchanting storytelling.

Now that you're in the know, the developer has revealed scanty details on the game's development that don't really shed light on its direction. However, we know you'll be moving from left to right and vice versa, accompanied by music from Iku Mizutani. Iku is a famous super composer who worked on the original title's soundtrack. What's more, he produced soundtracks for Medabots and Shatterhand.

Moreover, the 16-bit pixel art style will elevate the gaming experience thanks to Dynamic Productions; The team is exclusively behind the character illustrations and key visuals. You may know them for their impeccable works in Grendizer and Mazinger Z.

Trailer

If you're still here, that means this game speaks to your needs. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Natsume hadn't revealed any official footage of the game. We could be seeing the game's first look before the year ends. If that happens, we'll be sure to give you an exclusive view right here on gaming.net

Release Date, Platforms & Edition

KAGE Shadow of the Ninja

The earliest you'll get your hands on this ninja action platformer is Spring 2024. The developer has confirmed the game will launch with Japanese, English, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Italian, and traditional Chinese language support.

Moreover, the game will be available on Switch, Xbox Series PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Steam (PC).

As the development process is still in its early stages, the likelihood of any special editions or official announcements remains uncertain for the foreseeable future. Should the developer opt to introduce such offerings, they will likely do so closer to the game's launch, potentially in Q1 2024. However, this is merely speculation and not a confirmed date.

Keep tabs on the development team's official social media channels here to keep informed about the game's progress. Rest assured, once a concrete release date is established, we will promptly notify you right here on gaming.net.

Good news, RPG fans, a new title from Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai will launch on PlayStation 5. The bad news is that you'll have to wait four years before it drops. The God Slayer is an upcoming title that is still in its early stages of development, but the developers have been gracious enough to hint at its production.

It's not uncommon for developers to unveil a game in the works. However, announcing a game almost half a decade early is quite rare. Could this be the groundbreaking marvel that stands as a benevolent architect? Only time will tell. In the meantime, let's unpack what is in the headlines in The God Slayer: Everything We Know.

What is the Godslayer?

The God Slayer

The God Slayer is an upcoming action RPG title by Pathea Games. You may know them from My Time at Portia. The game is a post-apocalyptic building game where you compete to be the best builder. Despite its premise sounding simple, its gameplay is a boatload of fun, earning “mixed or average” reviews from aggregator Metacritic.

The developer is currently working on a sequel, My Time at Sandrock. This could explain the later release of The God Slayer, granted that the developer's hands are full at this time.

According to Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai. “The God Slayer is an open-world action RPG featuring a highly immersive gameplay system and story experience, allowing players to enhance their abilities through battles and world exploration with the ultimate goal of defeating enemies and saving the world.”

Story

Going by the premise of other games bearing the word “slayer” in their title, it's safe to assume players might be assuming the role of a hunter. The game's overall aesthetics lean toward a mythical tale rooted in Chinese folklore. The characters appear to be from the Tang Dynasty era, with an infusion of Steampunk themes.

The game’s storyline teases unreachable treasures that we can't wait to behold. But Pathea Games is yet to give details of the game's story. Official released photos of the title reveal a character battling a fierce traditional Chinese-themed dragon. The character is summoning fire from his hands, which hints at the potential use of mystical powers to overcome foes.

The game is clearly a stark departure from what the indie studio developer Pathea Games has released before.

Gameplay

From the horse's mouth, “The God Slayer is an open-world action RPG featuring a highly immersive gameplay system and story experience, allowing players to enhance their abilities through battles and world exploration with the ultimate goal of defeating enemies and saving the world.”

There's a heavy hint of combat being the core of The God Slayer's gameplay. (Let's not forget the word “slayer' in the title). From one character summoning a cloud of fire against a dragon to opponents donning Chinese armor wielding swords. In one of the pictures, we see the presumed antagonist crouching through a dense forest, pointing to stealth as one of the gameplay mechanics.

Development

The God Slayer

The game, as stated, is a brainchild of Panthea Games in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment. The latter announced the game as part of the PlayStation China Hero Project. For those not familiar with the term, the project is a program by Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai. It offers support to Chinese developers to seamlessly penetrate the Chinese and global markets.

It's certainly challenging to captivate gamers across various continents. This collaboration makes it easier for entrants to unleash mind-blowing, high-quality games that speak to every gamer's desire. Chinese developers benefit from the resources, marketing help, and guidance from the program, allowing them to access a wider market.

The project is now in its 3rd phase, and through a tweet from China Hero Project, this upcoming title is one of the games under the program. Other games are TI Games' The Wind Rising and Daba: Land of the Water Scar by Dark Star.

Furthermore, since PlayStation is part of the game's development, we could be in for some pretty immersive action that leverages the PS5's hardware.

Trailer

Unfortunately, Panthea Games is yet to release an official trailer for The God Slayer. The only thing we have going for this game are stills from the game. But don't let this discourage you. The screenshots are quite impressive for what the developers are aiming at. We'll be sure to share the game's official announcement trailer once it drops.

Release Date, Platforms, and Editions

the God Slayer

As far as release dates go, we'll have to exercise patience with this one. According to the developers, the earliest release date is 2027.

Granted the history of game releases, we've witnessed games receiving a release date which is then pushed further. That said, we will only include this game in our wishlist once we get more details of its progress. Notwithstanding, from its first glance, it's shaping up to be an enthralling action RPG that could see other titles such as Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, and Dark Souls a run for their money.

Moreover, since this game is under the China Hero Project, you can expect to see it first exclusively on PlayStation 5. And while we can't certainly say whether the game will be ported to ex-gen consoles or PC, the developer and Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai have yet to shed light on this.

Since the game is still in its early stages of development, there's not much we can say about it. However, Pathea Games' new release, My Time at Sandrock, is now available as early access. Therefore, you can get acquainted with the developer's grand work before we finally get to lay our hands on The God Slayer.

We'll be sure to rope you in on new details about the game as soon as they hit the headlines right here on gaming.net. You can also keep tabs on the game's progress via the developer's official social handle here.

So, what's your take? Will you be keeping an eye on Pathea Games' latest venture? Let us know your thoughts on our socials here

In an alarming turn of events for PC gamers, Steam recently pulled down the popular game original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, citing concerns over malicious hacks.

This decision came after a rekindled interest in the game when old servers were resurrected on Xbox.

According to an article by TechCrunch, the cause of concern was the game’s “hacked lobbies.” These lobbies, as reported by several players since June 26, have been platforms for malware attacks.

A post on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) – Multiplayer Steam Discussion page, dated June 26, cautioned players to activate a virus scanner before indulging in the game. This warning, shared by a Steam user named Bee, highlighted the malware in question as “Trojan:Win32 Wacatac.B!ml.”

The threat's legitimacy was further confirmed by other players. Steam user Moose shared their personal experience, noting, “I found it, but it wont let me delete saying access denied.”

Investigations revealed that the culprits behind this malicious campaign utilized a worm, a potent malware capable of self-replication, ensuring its automatic transmission from one player to another. This meant that any player who joined one of these compromised lobbies would not only receive the virus but also transmit it to every subsequent player they interacted with.

On July 26, in light of these concerns and the potential risk to its users, Activision made the decisive move to take the Steam version of the game offline.

Call of Duty's Updates official Twitter account issued a statement regarding the situation:

“Multiplayer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) on Steam was brought offline while we investigate reports of an issue.”

Xbox Not Affected

While this debacle has created a wave of concern among the PC gaming community, Xbox 360 users can breathe a sigh of relief. As of now, there have been no reported instances of similar infections for the console's players.

So, were you one of the affected individuals? Do you have an antivirus installed on your PC? Let us know your thoughts over on our socials here.

The soul-like genre is one to be admired. It opens up an ethereal canvas of hauntingly beautiful landscapes and foreboding architecture amidst challenging gameplay. Bloodborne's debut reminded us what this genre portrays- a pure adventure that gives generously to those who dare to embark. The game takes you on a breathtaking odyssey, soaring to the summits of euphoria and plunging into the abyssal depths of weary desperation.

Now, a worthy contender stands poised to claim its spot. Lies of P twists a familiar tale, enveloping it in gothic horror and a hint of steampunk allure. At first glance, it may appear as a sequel to Bloodborne due to shared elements, but that couldn't be further from the truth. If you're curious about the comparison between these two games, read on. Here is Lies of P vs Bloodborne.

What is Bloodborne?

On the off chance that you've not yet immersed yourself in the Yharnamian terrors, Bloodborne is an action role-playing game from FromSoftware. The game's storyline is borderline cliché, focusing on a rogue hunter gunning after plagued beasts who were once humans. To put it into perspective, residents of Yharnam are beleaguered with plaque, turning the once frenzy street into squalor and grime. An epidemic blood-borne disease is changing the residents into freaks of nature, and as the hunter, you must get to the bottom of things.

The game features a hard-earned progression system, which sticks to the precedence of the developer's games. These systems put games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring on the map. However, there is a unique appeal to the game. At first glance, the desolate state of the town tugs on your heartstrings, invoking sadness owing to its sorry state. But as they say, sit in shit too long, and it starts to stink. The game soon invokes a putrid wave of fear.

Well, what do you expect from a creation by the ingenious Hidetaka Miyazaki? He's the legend behind Demon Souls, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring.

What is Lies of P?

Lies P

Lies of P is an upcoming title already brewing a buzz from the gaming community. Why the buzz, you may ask? Right from the game's announcement, veterans of the souls-like genre were drawing parallels and similarities to Bloodborne. This is not unusual, granted that games tend to borrow elements from predecessors and forefathers.

However, with Lies of P, the emulation is down to its font. It makes you wonder whether developers channeled this idea as an authentic invention or made a copy of Bloodborne and then scavenged through fairy tales to find their best protagonist. Because never has it occurred to me that Carlo Collodi's wooden puppet, whose nose grows an inch longer when he lies, will be the hero of the day.

That aside, the storyline follows Pinocchio, a humanoid puppet, in his quest to find his creator, Geppetto. Amidst it all, the town has fallen into unspeakable horrors, making your journey harder than before. The game invokes mystery by hinting that you shouldn't trust anyone. Moreover, players must lie to everyone if they want to become humans.

Gameplay

Lies of P vs Bloodborne

Combat takes center stage for both games but takes a new approach in Bloodborne. Stealth is not an option. Gone are the days of timidly hiding behind a shield, biding time for the perfect moment to thrust a pike. Instead, your character's speed is your only defense from quick steps and evasive rolling melee battles.

Moreover, your incredible arsenal of transforming weapons adds a layer of intrigue. Like a switchblade, your main weapon retracts, switching between shorter and longer versions of the weapon. The short version deals a flurry of deadly strikes from a close range. The weapon becomes heavier but deals even greater damage in its expanded form. As you progress, you can tweak your weapon by adding gems to it. These elements spruce up the fight, where you can torch your opponents before hacking them down with a final slash.

Blodbornes' combat takes a new trajectory from the souls-like genre. Instead of potato-filled vials that restore your health instantly, your opponents drop life-strong items, which you can guzzle up mid-fight. Interestingly, this is not the only way to recharge your health bar. Strike your foe, and the blood it oozes replenishes your bar back red from orange.

In contrast, Lies of P is shaping to be Bloodbornes' younger sibling. Leveraging your character's speed is your best chance of survival. But you must exercise caution in dodging and blocking enemy strikes. The interesting part is Pinocchio's mechanical arm, a snag reminder of his humanoid statue. Adding elements to gadgets to the mechanical arm can lure enemies or launch a flamethrower that incinerates your foes to ashes. This is perhaps the game's best and unique thing so far. Let's not forget the game's lying system, where decisions you make chart your path.

Verdict

The answer to Lies of P vs Bloodborne isn't a mind-boggling one. It's simply straightforward for now. Lies of P was announced in 2021 and will be gracing consoles on September 19, 2023. So far, the game's trailer reveals an insane amount of action women in a Soulsborne-theme tapestry. Admittedly, the game is shaping to be a worthy contender to other titles in the genre. Moreover, I am smitten by the game's infusion of a steampunk setting and running with a twist of the classical fairy story, giving Pinocchio a huge facelift.

On the other hand, Bloodborne continues to live up to its legacy—a brilliant masterpiece woven from the threads of darkness, challenge, and haunting beauty. Although the game's exhausting odyssey could easily lunge you to the bottomless abyss of madness, it's remarkably rewarding.

Granted that we have yet to taste Lies of P, the scale remains tipped in favor of Bloodborne. Stay tuned for our full review of Lies of P once the game drops.

Get ready to ignite your adrenaline and hit the virtual road as you rev up your engines in Ride! Renowned for its collection of roaring sport bikes that take on hairpin turns with finesse, leaving a trail of dust in your wake, the franchise has earned its reputation as the “Forza Motorsport” of motorcycles.

With the fourth installment already capturing hearts with its stunning graphics and immersive gameplay, the upcoming Ride 5 promises to raise the stakes even higher, vying for the title of the franchise's most exhilarating ride yet. But the ultimate judgment lies in your hands – let's dive into the showdown of Ride 4 vs Ride 5.

What is Ride 4?

Ride 4

Ride 4 is the fourth heart-pounding chapter in Milestone Srl's thrilling motorcycle racing series. This game is not just a ride; it's an all-encompassing two-wheeled adventure that takes motorcycle enthusiasts on an unforgettable journey around 30 meticulously crafted tracks, each set in different corners of the globe.

The game doesn't merely rest on its laurels; it takes the best aspects of its predecessor and fine-tunes the experience, leaving no room for disappointment. A standout feature of the game is its jaw-dropping lineup of 176 exquisitely detailed bikes, featuring the likes of Aprilia, Ducati, BMW, and Harley Davidsons. With such an extensive roster, you're spoiled for choice when picking your speed demons.

If you're craving an edge over the competition, look no further than the mighty Aprilia Tuono V4 1100, the agile Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, or the roaring Ducati Panigale V4 R. These powerhouses are your golden tickets to victory on the track.

Moreover, if you ever need a breather from the intensity of racing, take a moment to marvel at the sheer beauty of these bikes. Each is a masterpiece, akin to Da Vinci's greatest works, and it's an awe-inspiring experience to look at.

What is Ride 5?

Ride 5

As MotoGP 23 is gearing up for a launch this year, so is Milestone. The fifth installment in the Ride series, Ride 5, is expected to launch a few weeks from now, and the craze dust isn't looking to settle soon.

As expected, Milestone will refine details of the game's predecessor, upping the game experience a notch. According to the team, players should brace for an “adrenaline-filled gaming experience that is so authentic it will make you feel like you're truly racing at break-neck speed.”

The game features a rags-to-riches story where you start as a low-rank rider and race to become the ultimate legend. It is familiar terrain, of course, but expect the challenges to be greater than what Ride 4 delivered.

On motorcycles, Milestones has yet to release the full rooster of bikes in the upcoming title. We can confirm that Autopolis, Japan, and Sonoma, USA, will be debuting alongside beloved brands from predecessors. Since the game is still in the world, you can read more about what we know so far in our article here.

Gameplay

RIDE 4 Vs RIDE 5

Ride 4 is an ingenious example of what new hardware can do for a game. In essence, it amplifies the gameplay for a surreal and thrilling experience. Ride 4's use of the PS5's adaptive triggered and DualSense haptic feedback is one of the most impressive features yet. It elevates the game to a lifelike experience by reacting to varying weather conditions and surfaces.

The adaptive trigger mimics the motorcycle's throttle, allowing you to accelerate and decelerate as you wish.

The game leverages Unreal Engine 4's capability. This engine opened up a pandora of innovations compared to the previous games. For instance, the game features a 24-hours day-night cycle and dynamic weather. This adds a layer of endurance riders face in real life.

Speaking of endurance, the game depicts real tire-wear situations and fuel management modes, adding a new edge to the gameplay.

But sadly, the developers couldn't fully use PS5's hardware. I mean this in the nicest way possible. Ride 4 could easily have been the game of the year if the free upgrade utilized this. The PS4 and PS5 versions have little difference.

In contrast, Ride 5's endurance mode will be the ultimate test. The mode calls for strategy and perseverance. Ride 4 introduced these lifelike mechanics meant to make your time on the track easier. Seemingly, its successor will build on that, forcing you to make strategic stops and saves. Additionally, players will access a rewind feature to navigate the tough spots and develop a strategy to outmaneuver them.

Ride 5 revs things up with a Race Creator mode, where you can customize your bikes and tracks. The mode also lets players assemble tournaments and events. Clearly, the forthcoming iteration will have more to offer than those that paved the way.

Verdict

When all is said and done, Milestone is pushing the barriers of motorcycle racing. For a franchise that debuted less than a decade ago, it's certainly on the right track. It's impressive to note that the developer has been involved in curating racing games within the licensed series, such as MotoGP, SBK, MXGP, and Rally Championship.

That aside, Ride 4 is an ingenious creation that gives the series a tremendous facelift. The game brings a classic racing simulation experience, giving the developer more reasons to release new games. It's hard to fault a game that made the impossible possible. We can only assume things will get grander.

That brings us to Ride 5. The game's official launch trailer teases a surreal experience building on the previous installment. Expect massive improvement in the game's visuals and bike handling, bringing you closer to the track than ever before.

So which game takes the cake? As usual, I am always looking for experience before making a verdict. In this case, having played Ride 4 and devoted 31 hours to the main story, it is the ultimate racetrack champion-for now. In the meantime, you can brush up on your riding skills before you hit the tracks again in Ride 5. Stay tuned for our Ride 5 review once the game drops.

What is The Sisters 2: Road to Fame?

The Sisters 2: Road to Fame is an upcoming party game. It is the sequel to The Sisters: Party of the Year, whose universe is inspired by Les Sisters. Les Sisters, which made its English language debut as “The Sisters,” is a best-selling graphic novel series. It tells the story of two sisters, Marine and Wendy. The two have explosive personalities and strong independence. But while their personalities make it hard to get along, their adventures would often intertwine.

Developer Balio Studio and publisher Microids released The Sisters: Party of the Year in 2021. This was the first game in The Sisters' video game series. After worldwide success, they are preparing to launch a sequel called, The Sisters 2: Road to Fame on October 5, 2023.

Story

The Sisters 2: Road to Fame

Sisters Maureen and Wendy return with a brand-new story inspired by The Sisters’ universe. It starts off with each sister receiving a tablet as a reward for good academic performance. Your sister instantly creates a social media account. But she doesn’t just intend to share her life with her friends. She also has a conniving plan to get more followers than you and claim ultimate fame. Here’s Steam’s description for the new game:

The story begins when you and your favorite sister are gifted a tablet to reward your good grades. Your sister immediately creates an account on a trendy social network, not only to share her adventures with her best friends, but also for something else. As your beloved yet mischievous sister, she wants to surpass the fame of your own account to become the new popular influencer in town!

Our favorite Sisters will have to compete in a frenzied race for followers!

Depending on the sister you choose, you can proceed to the end and unlock a secret ending. This also means that you can replay the game as the other sister and unlock their secret ending, too.

Gameplay

At its core, The Sisters 2: Road to Fame is a party game perfect for a family and friends' gaming night. However, there are several gameplay elements that factor into it, including:

Exploration

Players will need to explore the town, inspired by the comic series, The Sisters. It’ll have a vibrant, colorful nature, just like the comics, albeit with new areas to explore and upgraded designs.

Players will meet various characters who live in the town. They will meet 24 super influencers of the town, who will give them challenges to complete in a mode called the Adventure mode.

Minigames

There will be a total of 24 minigames to complete. These are new ones you haven’t played before in the series, with a wholesome variety of laser, cooking, toma-throw, horse racing, blop-blop diving games, and more.

Multiplayer

You’ll have the chance to bring along a friend or two in multiplayer mode. It’ll split further into four different types of challenges. The first is called “challenges,” which offers, well, your favorite challenges to take on with friends and family. The second is called “around the world,” which offers each player the chance to choose which mini-game they would like to play.

Thirdly, we have the “tournament,” which pits players against one another in several rounds of minigames. And the last one is called “all or nothing,” where you’re free to play all the minigames all at once. Up to four players can play in multiplayer at the same time.

Gift card collection

Upon completing the minigames, players will receive gift cards. These will come in handy when unlocking extra goodies like cosmetics. You can use them to customize your character and become the most stylish influencer.

Development

Developer Balio Studio and publisher Microids have partnered to work on The Sisters 2: Road to Fame. They previously worked on the first game in The Sisters video game series, The Sisters: Party of the Year. It launched to much success, with faithful adaptations to the universe and characters of the comics.

According to Steam, The Sisters 2: Road to Fame is introducing new areas and upgraded designs to The Sisters universe. So, we can expect to see updates to the original’s already impressive game. With a teaser trailer already out, hopefully, the game launches on October 2023 as promised.
